Embrace the Journey Counseling

Christina (she/her/hers) is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Addiction Counselor in the State of Colorado. Christina obtained my Bachelors degree from Colorado State University-Pueblo in 2014 and then went onto graduate from University of the Rockies in 2016 with a Masters of Counseling specializing in Mental Health Counseling. Christina welcomes the LGBTQIA+ community and BIPOC individuals, as her goal is to create a safe and comfortable space for ALL. Christina specializes in trauma treatment using modalities: EMDR and Brainspotting. Christina’s therapeutic style is evidence-based and compassionate, extends hope in healing and change, a heaping handful of humor, and fosters a deeper understanding of self. Christina’s mission is to meet client’s where they are on their journey in life, trying to navigate: life stressors, burn out, trauma and other mental health struggles. Together, let’s unpack, unlearn, heal.  In April 2021, Christina started her private practice- Embrace the Journey Counseling. At the end of 2022, Christina transferred to 100% online- in order to support the growing need of accessible mental health care across Colorado.
